Come join us for Russell Sage College’s production of The Lightning Thief, returning by popular demand! The Greek gods are real, and they’re ruining Percy Jackson’s life. Twelve-year-old Percy is on the most dangerous quest of his life. As a son of Poseidon, Percy has newly discovered powers he can’t control, monsters on his trail, and he is on an epic quest to find Zeus’s lightning bolt and prevent a war between the gods. With the help of a satyr and a daughter of Athena, Percy must journey across the United States to catch a thief who has stolen the original weapon of mass destruction – Zeus’ master bolt. Normal is a myth when you’re a demigod, so come see the trouble these lovable storybook characters get up to. Performances are from December 3rd through 11th at the Schacht Fine Arts Center.
