Stewart’s Caring Place, a cancer wellness center serving over 30 counties in Ohio, is hosting the opening reception for “Flutter,” a free exhibition of local creatives and artists, on March 20th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, in its Healing Arts Gallery.
“Flutter” draws its inspiration from the butterfly in Stewart’s Caring Place’s logo, taking its name from a gathering of butterflies in flight, and celebrates the variety of ways people find strength and inspiration on their healing journey through art. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photography, poetry, and sculpture by more than 70 area artists.
“We’ve seen firsthand the power of art for inspiration and healing,” says Sarah Vojtek, President & CEO of Stewart’s Caring Place. “Hundreds of individuals and families walk through our doors every month and remark how pieces in our Healing Arts Gallery resonate with them. We're excited to bring this show back to honor the stories and people we’re so grateful to serve.”
