Lenten Seafood Dinner


An annual Hudson tradition will return for its 40th year on Friday, February 28 at St. Mary Catholic Church. The St. Mary Men’s Club will continue the popular Lenten Seafood Dinners with over 80 members volunteering every week to prepare a wide variety of Lenten dishes. Many dinner selections will be offered, including beer battered fish, fried shrimp, baked lemon pepper haddock, crab cakes, locally sourced pierogies, and salads; complemented by side dishes of lobster bisque soup, cole slaw and sidewinder fries. Roasted red potatoes and steamed broccoli will once again be available. For those who like something sweet, there will be chocolate cake. A children’s menu is also offered that includes pizza and mac and cheese and NEW for 2025, kids 6 and under eat FREE. Beverages offered include coffee, tea, soft drinks, and water. The Friday night dinners will continue through April 11. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the last order of the evening will be taken at 7:30 p.m. Dine-in or carry out options are available.
