Medina County Historical Society Open Houses
The Medina County Historical Society 2026 open house season starts March 8. By popular request, both museums will now be open on the same day! Stop by on the second Sunday of each month from 1pm to 4pm and enjoy the John Smart House at 206 N. Elmwood and the McDowell-Phillips House Museum at 205 S. Prospect St.
Visit our new exhibit at the John Smart House: The History of Medicine in Medina County, featuring medical tools, a historic timeline, and video interviews.
John Smart House Museum – suggested donation is $5.
McDowell-Phillips House Museum – $10 adults, $9 seniors, $7 youth ages 7–17, and free for children under 7. Tours begin every 20 minutes starting at 1pm.
