The Oak Ridge Boys have been crafting one of music’s most distinctive sounds for over 50 years, earning their place as legends across multiple genres including country, gospel, and pop. Originally founded in Oak Ridge, Tennessee as a gospel group in the 1940s, they successfully crossed over to country music in the mid-1970s, creating numerous hits including the iconic “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” and “American Made.”
The current lineup features lead singer Duane Allen, baritone William Lee Golden, bass Richard Sterban, and newest member Ben James, who recently joined the group on tenor following Joe Bonsall’s retirement. Throughout their storied career, the Oaks have earned multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM awards, along with countless industry accolades.
Now embarking on their American Made Farewell Tour, they continue to deliver their timeless harmonies and beloved hits while working with Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb on new music, proving their enduring impact on American music.
