A fun afternoon for the whole family, featuring the first "Nooks and Crannies Tour" of the Socially Responsible Sweatshop of Kent (SRS), tasty treats made by some of the best cooks of Portage County, quilts never publicly displayed before, and special products made by the talented SRS volunteers. Learn about the community agencies that help the hungry in YOUR neighborhood, explore the sanctuary of the historic Christ Episcopal Church as you shop for quilts, start a new family tradition by buying a quilt for your home, meet the talented volunteers from the Socially Responsible Sweatshop. Free admission (although donations always appreciated). “Never underestimate a person with a sewing machine.”
