Between the Lines

Between the Lines is an empowering and enchanting new musical for anyone who has ever sought to find their place in the world. Based on the novel by international bestselling author Jodi Picoult and her daughter Samantha van Leer, Between the Lines explores the story of an outsider in a new town and a new school. Delilah seeks comfort in the pages of her favorite book, where she feels heard and understood by the handsome Prince Oliver. But, as the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur in both extraordinary and astonishing ways, Delilah discovers how to find her place in the real world while keeping her dreams alive. This enchanting piece reminds the audience to live the story you want, if it is not the story you’re in. Produced with permission by Music Theatre International (MTI). Performances run from May 2 - 11, 2025, at the Senney Theater inside Beck Center for the Arts. Curtains times are 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00 pm on Sundays. There is a Student Matinee on Thursday, May 8th, at 10:00 am. Tickets for Youth Theater productions are $15 for adults and $13 for children. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00 p.m. Sundays.
