The Salvation Army New York Staff Band to perform at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Formed in the spring of 1887, the New York Staff Band (NYSB) is the first
staff band in Salvation Army music history. The band has visited the
United Kingdom, toured Europe and Scandinavia on multiple occasions,
traveled several times to the Far East, Australia and New Zealand and has
been across the border into Canada on more than 20 occasions, and
performed coast to coast in the USA. The New York Staff Bank has also
performed at many famous locations including Carnegie Music Hall,
Madison Square Garden, Buckingham Palace Forecourt and Disney
World.
